Repainting of RTU Benches

Bago magbukas ang ikalawang semestre sa Rizal Technological University ay napagkasunduan ng Sakamar na magkaroon ng “Repainting” o pagpipintura sa ilang mga pook pahingahan o ”Beanches” sa loob ng nasabing unibersidad. Ito ay ginanap noong Ika-10 ng Nobyembre, 2010 sa pangunguna ni G. Argel Joseph Ituralde, ang pangulo ng organisasyon. Layunin ng programang ito na matulungan kahit na sa simpleng paraan ang nasabing paaralan sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at kalinisan ng kapaligiran nito.

Nagpapasalamat ang samahan sa lahat ng nakiisa sa gawaing ito.

1st Amateur Badminton Tournament

The Samahan ng mga Kabataang Marinduqueño, a recognized non-academic student organization in RTU, will be having a 1st Amateur Badminton Tournament this coming August 01, 2010 at Rizal Technological University, Boni Campus, Mandaluyong City.

The objective of this event is to promote sportsmanship among the participants as well as to raise the needed fund for the upcoming projects and activities such as Livelihood Extension Program, Computer among others.

As we celebrate our 3^rdFounding Anniversary, let us remember and pay tribute to the sterling dedication and unwavering passion of the early and recent officers of the organization who have steadfastly and commendably passed on the baton of leadership to slowly but surely transform Samahan ng mga Kabataang Marinduqueno into what is today and onwards.

The efforts of our advisers, Dr. Myrna M. Profeta, Engr. Nestor M. Japis, and Ms. Myra Lydia M. Profeta and the compassion and perseverance of the 17 pioneering members of SAKAMAR, must be kept reverberating in our hearts as we carry on the torch of serving our kababayan from effectiveness to greatness in some simple yet helpful projects.

It is therefore, our obligation to continue to work together for a better SAKAMAR to enable it to become truly an organization of the Marinduquenos, for the Marinduquenos and by the Marinduquenos. God Bless You.

Col. Rolando Vilar was hailed in Poctoy, Torrijos, Marinduque on February 3, 1956. He finished his secondary at Our Mother of Perpetual Succor Academy and pursued his Bachelor Degree in Criminology at Philippine College of Criminology in 1983. He also took a Degree in Bachelor of Law (L.L.B.) at Manila Law College in 1993 where he was the 1st honor. Likewise he was a degree holder of Master in Science in Criminology and Master in Public Administration. Our guest speaker attended various courses, trainings and seminars locally and internationally. Among those are the Counter Terrorism in United Kingdom, Investigation on Music Piracy in Hongkong and Investigation on Terrorism in California. Because of his dedication and commitment to the service, he awarded numerous recognitions and commendations from different institutions, like Medalya ng Paglilingkod, Medalya ng kabutihang Asal, Medalya ng Papuri at Medalya ng Kagalingan. Aside from achievements as government employee, he is likewise, happily married to Mrs. Lorna Apil Vilar and blessed with four healthy kids.

MR. JOHNNY R. VILLA
Certified Public Accountant

Mr. Johnny R. Villa was born in Masaguisi, Sta. Cruz Marinduque on February 8, 1972. He finished elementary and secondary at Masaguisi Elementary School and St. Joseph Academy as salutatorian respectively.

As a working student and scholar of Jolibee Food Corporation, he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Accountancy at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa, Manila in 1994. Our guest speaker is a Certified Public Accountant.

During his college, he was an active student leader of his alma mater and his community. He was elected as Councilor in the Supreme Student Council, the highest student organization in the university. He was then, the President of the Marinduquenong Nagkakaisa sa Isip, Diwa at Nasa (MANDIN) and the Vice-President of the Asosasyon ng mga Marinduquenong Mag-aaral sa Kolehiyo (AMAMAKOL) an umbrella organization of 11 universities in Metro Manila and in Lucena.

At present, he is the Financial Consultant of the Lakeside Realty, Inc., a multi-million real estate company in the country and the Managing Partner of the J.K. Villa Accounting & Audit Services. Furthermore, he is the Accountant and Auditor of more than 15 companies including 8 schools.

Because of his academic blessings and fruitful experiences in various fields, he was invited as Commencement Speaker and lecturer by different institutions including his Alma Mater, the St. Joseph Academy in Marinduque last 2005 where he received the Medal of Appreciation.
